How this site handles your data.
What the contact form collects, how long it's kept, and how to ask us about a specific submission.

Who this applies to
This page covers personal data collected by this marketing site, https://authreads.com(primarily the contact form). It does not cover data processed by Authreads on behalf of a tenant (a company using Authreads for its own product's login). That relationship is governed by the agreement between Authreads and that tenant, not by this page. If you're trying to understand how a specific product handles your account, see where that support actually lives.
What we collect
The contact form on /contact collects: your name, work email, company, role, message, and how you heard about us. We also record the submitting IP address and browser user agent for abuse prevention, and a server-side timestamp of when the submission was received.
This site and the developer portal at developer.authreads.com can use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and move through them, so we can improve them. It sets first-party analytics cookies and sends usage data to Google, with IP addresses anonymised before Google records them. We use no advertising cookies, we do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Nothing analytics-related runs until you accept. On your first visit we ask, and until you choose “Accept” no analytics script is fetched and no analytics cookie is set — declining, or simply not answering, leaves the site untracked. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of either site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
A light or dark theme preference, if you change it, is likewise remembered in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Retention
Retention
Contact-form submissions are retained for 365 days from the date of submission, after which they are deleted by an automated process. This is the one retention figure this site commits to explicitly, and it's enforced in the system that stores the submission, not just described here.
Contact-form submission
Name, email, company, role, message, and referral source: retained for 365 days from submission, then automatically deleted.
Submitting IP address and user agent
Retained alongside the submission for the same 365-day window, for abuse investigation only.
How it's used
Submission data is used only to respond to you: an internal notification is sent so a person can follow up, and an acknowledgement is sent to the email address you provided. The message content is never written into operational logs; only a submission identifier and the fact that a submission occurred are logged, for rate-limiting and abuse-detection purposes.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share contact-form submissions with third parties except a sub-processor strictly necessary to deliver the emails above. See sub-processors.
Who is responsible for this data
This site and the Authreads platform are operated by Brishiv Tech Lab LLP, a company registered in India with its registered office at C-505, Titanium Business Park, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India - 380051. Written notices, including data-protection grievances, can be sent to that address or to legal@authreads.com.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about a specific submission, or to delete it before the 365-day window elapses, by emailing support@authreads.com from the address you submitted with. This section will be expanded with jurisdiction-specific detail (GDPR, CCPA, and similar) once this page has had professional legal review.
